Hello D6 Families!
As many of you know, a ruling has been made in the cases against the governor of Illinois. This ruling affects the mitigations and protocols D6 had in place. Please be sure to review the letter sent out by our superintendent, Dr. Roberts. D6 will continue to monitor any updates or changes to the current ruling.
Success! Thank you to all the staff that volunteered for our vaccine clinics. Together with staff, families, and other community members, we were able to make this event successful! Between the two different clinics we were able to provide our students, staff, families, and other community members with almost 450 vaccines!! | Nurse of the Month! This month, we will recognize Wanda Warren. Wanda has been a school nurse with D6 for 23 years. She has seen multiple generations of families throughout her years with the district. Wanda is a very compassionate and dedicated nurse. She has done so much for our families in her years here. Be sure to tell Wanda that you appreciate her and all she has done for our students! | Just Around the Corner With Valentine's day just around the corner, I wanted to share a few reminders. Students are able to bring in valentine cards and snacks. Snacks should be store bought and still in the original package with the ingredient label attached. It is prefered that valentines cards are sent in early and set aside for several days before passing them out. |
