Curbside Meals at Crockett ECHS, Thursday, 7–9 a.m.

Austin ISD transitioned from daily meals to WEEKLY free curbside meal service. This change is in response to community feedback, providing a more efficient and convenient meal pick-up option for families.

Each Thursday, curbside meal sites will provide free 7 day meal packs at more than 40 locations throughout Austin. Families are advised to stay in their cars and not enter buildings during meal pick up. Families who come by walking/biking/transit will still be able to receive food outside the campuses.

For more locations, times and information visit https://www.austinisd.org/openforlearning/meals

Do you need to pick-up your student early?

Crockett Families,

Due to Covid-19 we are limiting our campus interactions to avoid the spread. If you need to pick up your student early, we ask that you use the "Call Box" outside the Main Office doors. The Call Box will be answered by our Main Office clerks. We will come meet you outside the double doors. We ask that you please wear a mask, practice social distancing, and have your ID ready for one of our staff members to verify your identity.

Once we successfully check the student out, we will return your ID with a check out slip and your student will meet you outside.

We appreciate your support as we strive to keep our campus safe.

Class of 2024, meet your Gear Up Facilitators!

GEAR UP starts with our students in the 6th grade and they follow them through the summer of high school graduation. They come from Covington Middle School as well as Bedichek Middle School. We have facilitators in 7 high schools across Austin ISD. Odera started in January and Jacorey started in February, and while we both were sent home because of the Pandemic, we have put in WORK to get to know our students both virtually and On-Campus. With two totally different backgrounds, but being Red Raiders as a commonality, they work together very well. Student centered is their game and they do everything in their power to make sure the students are advocated for. We offer workshops, lunch bunches, tutoring (one on one and group), field trips, mentoring, "counseling", and anything else we can do to help our students.

Gear up is here to SUPPORT your student as they navigate High School and achieve their career and college dreams!

WE love the kids!
