TEXAS RANGERS OPENING DAY
The Texas Rangers started their 43rd season with a complete sell out! On March 31st, 1994, The Star-Spangled Banner was performed by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and 20 years later they came back and played again. The food that the stadium had was unbelievable to some. A two foot long hot dog that costs $26! WOW. One of the top pitchers in the game, Greg Maddux, performed the first pitch. The Rangers came back from a six-run deficit, something they haven't done since 2010. The Texas Rangers lost to the Philadelphia Phillies with the score being 14-10. Although they lost, the Ranger fans still enjoyed the game and both of the teams worked hard!
LETS START THE GAME
The U.S. flag was put on the field, and jets were flying over the stadium to begin the game.
YUMMY FOOD
Can't forget about the food! The choomongous costs $26 and is two feet long. It was named after the player Shin-Soo Choo.
TEAM WORK
Although the Rangers lost, they still congratulated each other for all the hard work and effort put into the game!
