Eight branches of Indo-European languages

The eight Indo-European languages are Albanian, Armenian, Balto-Slavic, Celtic, Germanic, Greek, Indo-Iranian and Romance.

The Germanic branch

The Germanic branch of languages is the main branch of Indo-European languages. They originated 1,500 years ago because of the invasions of the Germanic tribes.
