New Books for April!

It's official, SPRING HAS SPRUNG!

Young at heart with young adult fiction

So what's the deal with All Rise for the Honorable Perry T. Cook? Well, Perry is eleven years old and is in prison. Not because he did anything wrong, nope, Perry is locked up because he was born in prison, his mom is an inmate. How crazy is that? This is Perry's story and it's chockful of villians (who maybe aren't villains), good people (who maybe aren't so good), and Perry. Margaret Peterson Haddix has a new book, first in a new series. (I know you're probably all as shocked as I am). It's called Under Their Skin and looks good, but I'm not sure if it's about aliens or ghosts. You'll have to let me know.

Putting the FUN in Non-Fiction

These titles are flying off the shelves before I have even put them out! Between The Movie Book, Hot Pink, Originals (heads up faculty, you're going to want to check this one out, it's all about non-conformists and how they rule the world) and Child Convicts (yes that's right, a book about all the children that got sent off to Australia when it was a gigantic prison island) there are some AMAZING titles this month!

Getting scientifical with fiction

I didn't intentionally mean to highlight mostly sci-fi novels for the older fiction this month but that's totally what happened. And in keeping with the theme, if you read Pierce Brown's Red Rising and then Golden Son you are definitely, most certainly, going to want to read the epic conclusion, Morning Star. This is dystopian Science Fiction at its best.

Let's get crazy with some graphic novels!

Huge selection this month as promised. I have the next three volumes of Naruto (19, 20, 21) as well as the next four volumes of Blue Exorcist. Cassandra Clare's new graphic novel for the Infernal Devices series, Clockwork Prince is also out. Stop by and see what's available!
