Colts,
Today we had a chance to host many events, including all of our grade-level awards ceremonies and the 8th grade field trip to Main Event. These events are a good way to put a bow tie on the end of year activities at CMS!
We began a great tradition throughout the district last year, which allows our former Colts/graduating seniors from our two comprehensive high schools to come back to their respective elementary and middle schools. Today our 6th and 7th grade students were able to cheer on the graduating seniors from GHS as they walked the halls they graced four short years ago. It is a memorable celebration for our departing seniors. Whether it is our former graduating Colts or our current ones, I am very proud to see the hard work, dedication, and growth each of our students accomplishes during these very important middle school years.
Thank you for working with our campus in helping us Build an Excellent School Together! Enjoy your four day weekend as we head into the last week of school!
