SEEKING VETERAN PICTURES FROM TISON COMMUNITY
We are putting together a Power Point to be played during our Veterans Day program. It will display pictures of our family members and friends who are veterans of the US armed forces.
Will you please help? Please send pictures of your special veterans to the following email address: TisonMSVetDay@gmail.com
Please include with each picture the name of the veteran, branch of service, and Tison connection.
To the right is an example picture you might send us. This is an example of the type of information to include with a picture:
Mrs. Pooler’s Husband
Thanks so much for your help! If you have any questions, please email Polly Pooler at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We need all pictures sent by Sunday, November 10th.
Kanga Care Clinic
Kanga Care is a partnership between Weatherford ISD and Parker County Hospital District Outreach Program, to provide medical care onsite at each campus. Through the use of telemedicine and the Medpod Medical Cart, the healthcare needs of staff and students can be met in a convenient setting with each campus nurse. Kanga Care's purpose is to increase the educational success of students and staff by assuring access to healthcare. Early treatment can decrease the need for expensive medical care and unnecessary Emergency Room visits.
How to enroll in Kanga Care?
Fill out the Kanga Care Consent and either email it back to: email@example.com or turn it in at any WISD school campus in the Kanga Care lock box.
If you have any questions please feel free to call Kathleen Durham with PCHD at 817-599-1230.
Who are the Staff?

WEATHERFORD ISD CAMPUS NURSES
Congratulations to Dylan Hightower for being nominated for "Hayden's Challenge"! The person who nominated Dylan said that he went out of his way -- twice -- to check on a friend in need.
This challenge was created in honor of Hayden Walker, who took the initiative to help pick up trash one afternoon while waiting for his bus. "Hayden's Challenge" is a way to recognize students, teachers, and staff each week who go out of their way to be kind and make Tison a better place.
Nomination forms will be in the front office. You may nominate students, staff, and teachers. Please turn the forms in to Mrs. Brown or Mrs. Kelly.
