Summer Credit Recovery

Gaylord High School is offering a 9-week, teacher based, online credit recovery program in collaboration with Imagine Learning. Beginning Monday, June 19, 2023, students have the opportunity to recover high school credits while being mentored by GCS staff. The online program provides classes in all four core areas, plus some electives (students can take 2 classes). Return this completed Parent Permission form to the Guidance Department at GHS. Contact the Guidance office at 989-705-3112 with questions regarding the program.

Click to access the Summer Credit Recovery Permission Slip. The deadline for signing up has been extended until Tuesday, June 13th.

The next test out opportunity for students will be Wednesday, August 23rd at 9:00 am in the Guidance office. Test-Out materials are located on the GHS website under Guidance and Counseling. Students please sign up in the Guidance office if you are planning on taking a test.

During the summer months, when our office is closed, you can update your address and phone numbers with our board office (989) 705-3080 to keep your child’s school information up-to-date and accurate. It is extremely important, as typically our school district/buildings have an early fall mailing. This will ensure you will receive your mailings and School Messenger alerts in a timely fashion.

Transcript Requests

To prevent delays over the summer, please use Parchment to request your final transcript be sent to the college/university you will be attending in the fall. Link is provided below.

2023 Fishing Club

The Gaylord High School Fishing Club has had a wonderful year with lots of different fishing trips and instructional meetings. We are looking forward to fishing in boats this summer and competing in bass tournaments around the state. The club would like to thank the Otsego County Foundation, Rotary Club, the Youth Fund, the Drzewiecki Agency, the Meemic Foundation, the Skerratt Family, the OWLS Club, the Bruce Fasel Memorial Fund, Kohnert Family, and Jays Sporting Goods. Without your generous donations and contributions, this club would not be possible. We look forward to having many more fishing excursions in the months and years to come.

School year will start on September 5th.
