To begin with, Taylor Henrich is a ski jumper on the Canadian team in the Olympics. She began ski jumping at the age of 7-8, and was born in Calgary. Her dad always supported her and helped her on the snowy hills in Winter. On the other hand, Taylor's family is full of athletes from different sports. However, they were all there for her and supported her all the time.
Educational Background & Role models
Taylor Henrich studied at the university of Calgary. She was inspired by two amazing athletes. Her role models are Adam Malysz, who is a Polish ski jumper and Kyle Shewfelt who is in the gymnastics team. They are her role models because, when she saw them on the television win the gold medals, she said she will win it too! Ever since then, she had confidence in herself.

Taylor Henrich loves to challenge herself. Some of her challenges are to do something different in ski jumping and to work harder each day. In 2012 she won Olympic bronze medal in the mixed team event. She also won 18th place in the 2011 world championship. Taylor Henrich loves to challenge herself and win achievements and accomplishments.
Training and Goals
Taylor Henrich trains at the Russki Gorki jumping center with her head coach Gregor Linsig. Taylor thinks that her coach is really supporting, so Taylor never gives up. Her goals are to win the gold medal and work harder each and every day. One of her goals before the Sochi 2014 were to make it in the Sochi 2014. Taylor Henrich loves to complete her goals.

Interesting Facts
Some interesting facts about Taylor Henrich is that she will always have her name in the history book for being the first female Canadian to compete in Ski jumping at the Olympics. Also she was the only female representing Canada in the 2012 Olympic games. Another thing is that Taylor Henrich is now 19 years old and would change nothing about ski jumping. My last interesting fact about Taylor Henrich is that she first became interested in this sport when she was at a summer camp when she saw her role models win the gold medals.
