From Our Classroom To Your Home
Environments
We want to encourage native culture and awareness, establish an at home feeling, while keeping customs alive. Our goal is to keep the uniqueness of each individual child. Focus on their educational needs and provide different strategies to help them achieve their highest potential. Encouraging students use their voice. Teach to the student as a whole; teach as if we are all in this together.

Strategies to Practice
3 Teaching Strategies
Make lessons visual -- visual representations, graphs, maps, photographs, drawings and charts are a way to introduce new concepts.
Think-alouds and think-pair-shares when asking questions and giving students time to process what they just learned.
Teach one thing at a time and do not move on until everyone understands it.
3 ways parents can support their children
Read to them and with them. Reading aloud builds many important foundation skills.
Talk to your child. Ask them to talk about their day and encourage them to explain things they did.
Parents are welcomed into the school/classroom to experience the types of activities there students do on a daily basis.
