Monday night in our PTSA meeting I had the opportunity to share the annual "State of the School" remarks. I was happy to highlight some of the great things we are doing on campus, some of our challenges, and provide some direction on where we would like to go in the future.
Please check out the slides, which are linked in the image below or the PDF version.
Sportsmanship is a critical need!
Please see the important announcement about sportsmanship below.
Have a great weekend!

Inclusive Schools Week
SRVUSD designated this past week as Inclusive Schools Week to celebrate the ways students with disabilities participate in campus life, and highlight the inclusive practices already happening at our school sites.
We have a variety of ways that we make sure that our students with disabilities are actively engaged in the school community. We currently have a Strategies in Recreation physical education class. The students in our SDC class conduct PE with general education students where the collaboration between the teachers and students is amazing! We have a Special Olympics Club that just last week organized a "mini-special olympics" soccer event. The students in SDC and the general education students had a wonderful time together.
Sportsmanship
I ask that all students and fans focus their energy on cheering on our Grizzlies!
It is unacceptable to engage in any way with our opponents or officials. Any unsportsmanlike conduct will result in individuals begin removed from the event, delay in the start/continuation of the competition, and possible suspension from events for the remainder of the season. These instances are few, but they can impact everyone in attendance.
Let's represent our school with pride and positive behavior!
