The weather delayed us last week but we’ll still have our focus on RELATIONSHIPS. We will be back in our regular meeting space. Look out for games and crazy activities that will help us identify a trusting, respectful and healthy relationships!

Faith through Sports Recognition

It is with great pride that we honor exemplary youth of our Diocese with the Faith Through Sports Award each season. The Faith Through Sports recognition pays tribute to athletes in Grades 3-12 who compete in Diocesan Catholic Youth Organization programs. Coaches have honored these youth because as a CYO Athlete, they have embodied the following characteristics:

  • Consistently demonstrates Catholic values and Christian behavior by word and example
  • Demonstrates the qualities of a team player
  • Works toward both team and personal goals
  • Is a positive role model to their teammates
  • Honors the game through respect for team, opponents and officials

Christian Concerts and Talks for Teens, Parents, Families!

Franciscan University of Steubenville is coming to Rochester!

Friday evening May 3rd, 7-9 pm with refreshments following. Guardian Angels Church, Henrietta. Check-in at 6:00.

Night of Worship will include deeply moving praise and worship music, Eucharistic Adoration and a motivating, inspirational talk by a national leader -- a wonderful Eastertime celebration of the Lord Jesus for the entire family! Pre-registration is just $5 per person and is open from now until APRIL 12 ONLY; Admission at the door will be $10. David Haas Concert “I Will Bring You Home: Songs Of Prayer, Stories Of Faith”

May 17th, 2019 at 7:00 PM

A concert event with one of the most loved and prolific composers of music for the church. David is well known as the composer of some of your favorite songs, such as “Blest Are They”, “You Are Mine”, and so many more. This is a one of a kind event you will not want to miss.

There will also be a “meet and greet” reception with David after the show in our parish center, where he will be autographing copies of his newest book and CD!

Ticket prices are as follows: Adults: $12.00 ($10.00 pre-sale) 12 and under: $6.00 ($5.00 pre-sale)

Pre-sale tickets are only available for purchase online at this site using this link for David Haas Tickets, and after select Masses at St. Pius Tenth Church.
Tickets will NOT be available at the parish office.
Purchasers can print a receipt of transaction to be exchanged for their tickets.
Tickets for group purchases of 10 or more will automatically be mailed to the purchaser at the address provided in late April. Ticket purchases of 9 or less will be handled as “Will Call”.
If you prefer, you may send a stamped, addressed envelope to St. Pius Tenth Church, 3010 Chili Ave., Rochester, N.Y., 14624, (attn: Bob Schrader), by April 1st to receive them by mail.
“Will call” and pre-concert merchandise sale will open in the attached Parish Center at 6:00 pm.
Doors to the church will open at 6:30 pm.
