What happens is not as important as how you react to what happens. ~ Thaddeus Golas
As I reflect on our ideas for further professional development I realize that some of this will be covered during our March 14 work day. The School Improvement Committee is already starting the process of working on the agenda for that day. We can also use staff meetings to cover some of these ideas. Let me know if you have any ideas to add to our list: Wellness Committee activity, Teaching Strategies Gold support, START training follow through, Read it Once Again follow through, ELA & Math Common Core information, Medicaid training, EasyIEP updates, and DAYC-2 training.
In case you missed my announcements today, Barb Crane will be taking a new position with TMS starting January 6. We will greatly miss her for many reasons, especially her smile and willingness to help at all times. Please give her your best wishes as she gets ready for her new adventure.
I will be in Lansing Monday afternoon and all of Tuesday next week. Mary Rickard and Allyson Mills will be available to help if anything comes up. I can always be reached by email (you do know that I check it relentlessly) and I will check in with Angie during my breaks to see that everything is okay.
Have a wonderful weekend.
