SSMS Weekly Update

April 14, 2022

Hello SSMS Tiger Nation,

This week's Student Leadership Spotlight is on our 6th grade Tiger Leaders: Woohoo! Our new group of 6th grade Tiger Leaders class was formed this semester to promote a positive environment at SSMS. Some activities include fundraising, decorating the school, and assisting teachers. Tiger Leaders take the Pride Paw cart around to WIN classes so students can cash in their Pride Paws for treats. During the month of March, they led the monthly LEAD lesson in each WIN class on making SSMS “Better Together”.

Last week, our Tiger Leaders attended the Teen Leadership Summit by JC Pohl. They came back with ideas and inspiration to impart at SSMS. They want to make SSMS the best place to be!

We'd like to remind you we have no school on Friday, April 15 and Friday, April 22. Have a wonderful three day weekend!
