Morning Drop-Off
Starting tomorrow (Tuesday), the side car line (by the cafeteria) will be open no earlier than 7:20 am to help us get our day started more efficiently by 7:30. Please turn right only when leaving the staff parking lot.
A safety reminder -
Do not drop off children in the parking lot. Use the car lines to ensure student safety.
Dress Code
A few things to note:
- Spaghetti Straps are prohibited, but Lasagna Straps are ok.
- All shorts must extend halfway between the top of the knee and the end of the fingertips.
- Girls in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade are prohibited from wearing makeup.
- Boys - Hair may not extend beyond the top of the shoulders and must be groomed to stay
out of the eyes.
- Boys - Hair may not be worn in any length of a ponytail, man bun or braid.
- Boys - Visible objects in any body piercing are prohibited and coverings of visible body
piercings cannot be used to meet the dress code guidelines.

Hello! I am Ms. Valencia, and I am the music teacher at the greatest school on earth, LaRue Miller! I graduated from Texas Tech University in May of 2019 with my Bachelors degree in Music Education! I currently play clarinet with the Mansfield Wind Symphony, and I love spending time with my little chihuahua, Chico! JOIN DESTINATION IMAGINATION 2019-2020!
Have you heard? There is an amazing program offered by Midlothian ISD called Destination Imagination.
Is your child creative? Does your child like to tell stories? Do they like to build things? If so, then sign up below!
If you’re interested in signing your student up to be on a Rising Stars (K-2) non-competitive team or a competitive team (3-12), please fill out the Google form through the link at the bottom. For more information, check out their YouTube site and challenges below.

Please keep in mind that in order for us to have teams, there must be at least 1 team manager volunteer for each team and an appraiser for the tournament. Please consider volunteering!
