2022 Bond Community Meeting
2022 Bond Community Meeting- Wednesday, March 30, 7 PM, Stratford High School
Mark Your Calendars and plan to attend the 2022 Bond Community Meeting on Tuesday, March 30 at 7 p.m. at Stratford High School. Dr. Blaine and other district leaders will share information about the proposed 2022 Bond package that will be on the May 7 ballot. Spanish and Arabic interpretation will be available. Save the date and join us for Spring Branch Super Saturday: Unity in Our Community on Saturday, April 23 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Tully Stadium Complex, 1050 Dairy Ashford. Super Saturday is a FREE event bringing together the entire community to celebrate SBISD’s 75th anniversary. This event will showcase the best of the Spring Branch ISD family! Planned by SBISD high school students, the festival will feature student and community partner booths, food trucks, live student performances, arts & crafts, a petting zoo, hayrides, representatives from the Houston Dynamo and more! This will truly be an event for the whole family! Free shuttles will run to and from each SBISD middle school throughout the morning. More details to come! March 31st is Humanities Night. The honor societies running the events have planned a number of fun activities and are requesting help with prizes. Donations need to be dropped off anytime between now and March 31 in the main office. Sign-ups can be found at this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080F44AAAA2CA6F49-humanities
April 20 at 7pm is our in-person PTA General Meeting at AYAM. This is an important meeting, because we need to vote on the nominating committee for next year’s Board. We are also hoping Dr. Blaine will be able to attend to speak to our community about the upcoming bond. Did I mention there will be art and dessert and a nice evening out? We hope to see you there!
PTA Reflections Arts Competition
The SBISD Council of PTAs will be hosting an exhibition of the Reflections Arts Competition entries at the Altharetta Yeargin Art Museum. All the district entries will be on display Saturday, March 26th and Tuesday, March 29th. Join us as we celebrate all the students who participated in the program and who shared their vision of how they will change the world.
Communities In School
Parents-If your student tests positive for Covid, please contact the campus nurse. Email to Charlene.firstname.lastname@example.org or call 713-251-1825 to report their illness, get information regarding return to campus, and work from home information. Attendance will be notified through this process also.
WAIS Late Buses
The late buses are available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Students may stay for after school tutorials or after school club activities with a teacher.
3 Bus routes available, and will drop off students at their closest elementary school
