It is definitely starting to feel festive and fun around here! We are extra impressed with this nature-themed tree (see background)!

We kicked off our busy holiday schedule today with the first performance of our Shakespeare play! Families are welcome to join us for the second performance tomorrow, Saturday December 10th, at 3:00!

The holiday season is upon us, which means it is almost time for the Santa Shoppe; a Shoppe we open for children to purchase holiday gifts for loved ones!

Santa Shoppe is open for students of all ages. Each classroom shops during their designated time slot. Graduate students, volunteers, and teachers help students, especially the younger children, find the perfect gifts for each person on their list!

Envelopes to send your child's money/budget will be sent home the week prior to Santa Shoppe. Please do not return your child's envelope before Monday, December 19th. Items range in price from $1 to $40. The Shoppe will be open Monday, December 19th & Tuesday, December 20th.

The Shoppe will feature small trinkets, gift items, toys, ornaments, and Stewart spirit wear, in addition to parent donated, new and gently used items. Do you have a toy your child doesn't play with anymore? Brand new holiday packaged treats such as cans of nuts or summer sausage? Candles? Hand crafted items? These will make the perfect donation! Donated items will be sold at the Shoppe with 100% profit going directly back to ABC-Stewart Montessori School!

We are also asking for large quantities of candy cane donations!

This year, the ABC Stewart Graduates are partnering with United Way to provide gifts for 9 children whose families are experiencing difficult times. They will shop for each child (clothing, shoes, and toys) and then the entire elementary student body will help wrap the gifts to make them more special. The graduates will then deliver the gifts to United Way.

We, at ABC Stewart, feel it is important to instill the gifts of giving, empathy, compassion, and understanding towards others in our community. In doing so, we ask that ABC families make a donation in efforts to help support our community.

We ask every student to bring in a cash donation of at least $10 by Monday, December 12th.

Want to help more? We are also in need of:

• Wrapping Paper (preferably holiday themed)
• Bows
• Scotch Tape
• Shirt Boxes
• Gift Tags

Items can be turned in to the math room!

Trees Through Time, a Bartholomew County Historical Society exhibit, is now open through December 22nd!

Visitors are welcome to come and view festive, holiday displays, including original artwork from our very own Ms. Susie Signorino! Ms. Signorino was commissioned by the Bartholomew County Historical Society to paint images from 'Twas The Night Before Christmas.

• Subscription packages (ie. Netflix, Audible, Kindle, etc.)
• Country Club memberships
