School Counseling
Congratulations to the seniors who have submitted their college applications! Seniors should schedule an appointment to meet with their school counselor to discuss their future plans if they have not already done so.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application is now available to complete. This application can be found at fafsa.gov. The FAFSA is the most important application in the financial aid process. All colleges and universities will require the FAFSA before determining a financial aid award. Colleges may also require students to complete a CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE (profileonline.collegeboard.org) and/or a college specific financial aid application. It is important to be aware of each college's financial aid deadlines - missing deadlines could result in missing out on financial aid. For more information on the financial aid process please visit mefa.org.
FAFSA Day Massachusetts is a non-profit, volunteer driven program providing free assistance to students and families seeking to complete the FAFSA. These events will be taking place in high schools, colleges, and libraries across the Commonwealth and will provide one-on-one, step-by-step assistance for families completing the FAFSA. Please visit FAFSADay.org or email fafsaday@gmail.com for more information.
