FCPS Student Transition Plan Update

The following groups of students have been contacted offering in-person instruction (four days/week) beginning on November 5th: students with individualized educational plans or 504 plans, English Learners, students without stable internet service, and students who are currently homeless. Students enrolled in the RISE and STARS programs will also begin in-person instruction.

In addition, administrators at each school are identifying students with significant academic needs who are not included in the initial groupings. These students will also be offered in-person instruction if space is available, adhering to CDC recommendations. All students will continue to participate in the distance learning component, with less time required of those participating with in-person instruction.

Sincerely,

Dr. Marceline Catlett

Superintendent
