March 2020
Hello Wonderful Families!
SOOOOOOO glad February has LEFT the building! So many sick kiddos and staff members have left a dent in our attendance- but it is what it is. We need people to be healthy when they are at school. I am looking forward to spring colors, baseball season, and warmer weather!! There are not many days left in 3rd quarter and we are gearing up for MANY events and activities in 4th quarter. We love seeing our families attend events! Without your support and engagement, Marthasville wouldn't be the same. Friday night's Paint n Snack had around 80 guests and it sure was a fun time. A huge shout-out to Mrs. Monroig and her committee for putting this on, and to Mrs. Bayless for being our fabulous instructor! We have many more events coming, so check below for information.
Our first ever STEM Night is Thursday, 3/5 from 5:30-7:30. We have 157 attending so far! We can't wait to see you! Our teachers and staff are planning some fun STEM stations, so come ready for fun! Free Snacks will be provided as well.

We will also review our Matrix Behaviors, spend time with our buddy classes, and celebrate the start of the Cardinals season opener!
Six Flags-Six Flags reading logs were sent home in November with information about the program and how to log hours online to receive a free Six Flags ticket. Reading logs are due April 1st. Remember, the 6 hours of reading must be recreational reading, not assigned reading. Contact your child's classroom teacher or Mrs. Meyer if you have any questions.

Great work Mrs. Bradshaw!
Attendance
This month has not been kind to our students and staff with illness and sickness of all kinds. We truly do appreciate and understand when parents keep their students at home due to illness. Nurse Annie has included a chart below to refer to if you aren't sure if your child should come to school. When in doubt, please call the office and we will assist you the best we can.
