Monday is Halloween!
Monday is the day we reveal our Halloween Costume Writing Contest winner!
Each year, students in grades 1-5 write about what they think Mr. Rash and I should be for Halloween. Each teacher picks one winner and Mr. Rash and I choose ONE student as the school winner. You can see our previous winners below! We surprise the winning author by dressing up as they described on Halloween, which is Monday, as you know. Be ready to see us in and around the school on Monday!
Students are also allowed to dress in their costumes on Monday. We will have a schoolwide costume parade. Remember - NO weapons or SCARY costumes allowed. This includes toy weapons or items that can be used as a weapon. Thank you!
Congratulations to our 1st 9 Weeks Authors!
We celebrated each classroom's featured author last week in the Author's on Pointe Celebration. Check out the great writings of these 1st-5th grade students!
