National Assessment of Educational Progress
If your child was chosen, you should have already been notified by our campus. There is no need to study in preparation for NAEP, but please encourage your child to do his or her best. A brochure that explains what participation in NAEP means for you and your child is available at http://nces.ed.gov/nationsreportcard/pdf/parents/2012469.pdf. Contact Caroline Cole, counselor at 903-323-7701 or at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
We are excited that our school is participating in NAEP. We know that SH Intermediate’s students will show what our nation’s students know and can do.
Kids Heart Challenge
Kid Heart Challenge (formally - Jump Rope For Heart)
Coach Puerifoy will be sharing more information about this upcoming event soon. Spring Hill Intermediate raised a record amount of money last year to donate to this organization. The event will kick-off on January 23rd. If we reach our goal, Coach Puerifoy has agreed to be Duck-taped to the wall!
New and Used Shoe Drive
All campuses will be collecting new and used shoes to donate to someone in need and earn money for our school's ArtRageous Organization at the same time. The Shoe Drive will run from January 22nd - April 5th
Thank you ArtRageous for making it possible for our students to experience a wide variety of experiences outside of school.
5th grade students performed at School Board Appreciation Night. Thank you SHISD School Board for Planting the Seeds of Success for the students of our district!
