Kids Invite Someone Special (K.I.S.S.) Lunches

On Wednesday and Thursday, our schedules will be adjusted to allow for the large volume of lunch guests. Due to the reduced number of tables in the cafeteria this year, lunch will look a little differently. We will have to have some students (those without guests) eat in the classroom. We have almost 100 fewer seats in the cafeteria than last year, so those of you that have been here know this means we will not have enough seats. It should be plenty for students with guests. I am meeting with the admin team on Monday to determine the best plan. We will be there to assist since there will be some students needing to be supervised in the classrooms (or outside, if it is nice). Please notice the schedule changes for lunch and recess below.

WATCH D.O.G.S. Donuts with Dad (Friday)

At 7:30 am on Friday, we will be hosting Donuts with Dads. We've had quite a large response and will most likely have an overflow group that will eat in the library. If you would like to assist with this event, please email me. We'll fill the cafeteria first, and then bring the overflow to the library. It's just a casual get-together to bring our dads into the school, and to thank those that have already volunteered. At 8:15, I'll bring closure to the event so we can let our dads leave and clear the parking lot. Besides the fun and donuts, jeans passes (2) will be given to all staff who volunteer.

Valentine's Bags

We have 105 bags hanging in our hallway! Jan Hartman did an amazing job hanging these and decorating. You'll have all day on February 14 to drop in your valentines. Just be sure to take your bag at the end of the day. Thanks!

Employee Perception Survey

You will receive a link to the Employee Perception Survey (EPS) on Monday, February 19. The survey timeline ends at 4:00 pm on Friday, February 23. Please take time to complete this so we will have a full picture of our campus culture. This information will be shared with you after I receive the results (typically after Spring Break). We appreciate feedback and ask that you use this opportunity to share your thoughts (positive or constructive). The video below has been provided by the district. Please take a moment to view this prior to completing the survey. This survey has two components: an overview of the culture of our campus and specific feedback to certain administrators (principal, assistant principal, and counselor).

Superintendent's Fun Run

The district has made some changes to this wonderful event which supports the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation, beginning with reduced prices. There is even a "sleep-in" option for those that just want to support the event but are unable to be there, or who don't really want to walk or run. Our very own Robison Runners will be participating, so consider joining in with our students and families. Dr. Henry always awards the campuses with the highest participation. Let's be a winner this year!

The following information was shared at our DLT meeting:

· This year’s event has a 5k and a 1 mile, family-friendly run, with more affordable pricing.

· The 5k offers an adult and student cost. The 1 mile is $5 for each participant.

· Shirts can be purchased for $10 and are the same soft fabric as in previous years. This year the color is grey.

· The sleep-in pass is an option for those who know they cannot be at the race on March 24 but would still like to make a donation to the event. Your campus or department will get credit for this as a participant.

· Additional donations to the event can be made on the registration form.

· Individuals whose registrations/donations total or exceed $100.00 will be part of the Superintendent’s Century Club and will receive special recognition at the event.

Bingo Night

What a super fun night! Thanks to everyone that came out to help. Our families nearly filled the Cy-Woods cafeteria, and the event ran as smoothly as it could. We are so blessed to be supported by our amazing PTO and community!
