Pleasanton Primary Mission Statement

Pleasanton Primary Vision Statement

Grade Level Student Goals
Special Education
Hygiene, Fine Motor Skills, Telling Time-Clocks and Self-Regulation .
Pre-K
Language Arts-Students will be able to identify 20 uppercase and 20 lowercase letters as well as produce 14 sounds.
Math-Students will be able to identify numbers 0-7, child can count 0-7 items and can count past 22.
Kindergarten
Language Arts-Blend letter sounds to read CVC words Example: cat, sun, top, kit, net
Math-Read, write ad represent numbers to 20.
First Grade
Language Arts-Students should be able to read and spell words with silent e such as gate, slice, and mule.
Math-Students should be able to name 2 dimensional shapes and describe their attributes.
Fantastic Fridays
When your child attends school Monday through Thursday with no absences, they earn a privilege on the Friday of that particular week. We refer to this as Fantastic Fridays (FF) on the monthly calendar.
