New Era Begins at Argyle High School!

A new era began last week for Argyle High School with the opening of the new campus in Canyon Falls. Phase II of the 2017 Bond included a conversion of this campus from a middle school to a high school and required both campuses switching locations this summer. The campus still has construction being completed through September.

Phase II of Argyle High School includes these additions:

  • New instructional wing and more than 40 additional classrooms
  • Auditorium
  • Black box theatre
  • Band Hall
  • Choir Room
  • Expanded Library/Cafeteria
  • Gymnasium
  • Fieldhouse
  • Dedicated Band practice lot
  • Athletic Practice Fields

COVID-19 Cases - Reporting & Dashboard

Argyle ISD is required to report confirmed COVID-19 cases to the classrooms. This is being done at the elementary level by homeroom class and grade level. At the high school and middle school levels, parents will be notified through Skyward. Parents will be notified by email if their student is in the classroom of a positive case. This could lead to parents receiving multiple emails due to multiple cases reported on the campus for that specific day.

Additionally, Argyle ISD has created a COVID-19 dashboard to keep parents, staff, students and the community aware of the positive case totals at the campuses. The dashboard is updated by 6 p.m. each school day. The numbers are based on only cases confirmed through documentation.

District's New Clear Bag Policy at Eagle Stadium

Argyle ISD is implementing a clear bag policy starting this year for all football games held at Eagle Stadium. This week, the new policy begins at sub-varsity football games and will also apply to all middle school football games held at the stadium. The district’s highest priority is safety and this new policy will help provide a safer environment at Eagle Stadium.

All spectators attending games at Eagle Stadium (located at 191 US-377) will be required to use clear bags for personal belongings. Bags approved include a clear tote bag (12” x 6” x 12"), a small clutch bag (4.5” x 6.5“) or a one-gallon clear resealable plastic bag. Please see the attachment for examples.

Backpacks, purses, plastic grocery bags, diaper bags, duffle bags and large tote bags are NOT permitted. All personal items must be stored in a clear bag with the specified size requirements. Thank you for partnering with us in this safety initiative that will also allow spectators quicker entry at the gates.
