We have two events to celebrate on Wednesday.
Social gatherings after school
- Sarah Wong (our culinary teacher) appears in the tv show Chopped
- Chopped viewing party at 3pm in the library (snacks will be provided)
- Unified basketball social gathering 4pm in S137
- Unified basketball game 5:30pm main gym
- Unified Sports are a division of special olympics and provides our students an opportunity to compete for Westview High School throughout the state.
- PTO meeting and budget activity 6:30pm (for those that want to join me :)

Finals Schedule January 18-25
Grades
Five Oaks Fly-Ups during Finals Week
They will be here from 12:30 - 2pm. We will start with a welcome assembly and provide a tour through our school and all the exciting things they can be a part of once they get here.
There will be approx 40 students here each of the three days.
Let us know if you have ideas or would like to be a part of these visits.

From the College and Career Center
- Family College Financial Planning Presentation Wed. Jan. 23rd, 6:30-8:00pm.
- Future Connect Scholarship and PCC Foundation Scholarship presentation and workshop Thur. Jan. 17 @ 1:00 in the CCC.
- PCC Diesel Day Friday Feb. 8th 9:30-1:30. Free field trip for juniors and seniors, lunch provided. Receive an overview of the program, hear from reps from industry in Fleet Services such as FedEx, Truck Dealership Services such as Freightliner, Engines and Power Generation such as Cummins Pacific and Peterson Caterpillar, and Heavy Equipment and Material Handling.
- Seniors: Finish your FAFSA or ORSAA Application and enter to win a mini fridge! Stop by the CCC for details. Students should have their FAFSA or ORSAA complete before February so they don't miss important deadlines!

You need to be logged into your Beaverton Google account in order to access the form.
Opt-in for Text Messages
In a large-scale emergency, SMS messaging may be the only mode of communication.
In order to receive text messages, you must opt-in.
To opt-in:
- Your cell phone number must be in the Employee Online Services (EOS), listed as CELL. EOS can be accessed from the Staff Bookmarks. Once logged in, please click on Home Address to make any changes. Select CELL from the Phone Number drop-down list, enter the number and hit Save.
- Once your number is in EOS, text “YES” to 67587. You will receive a confirmation text.
