Opportunity
Interested in a part-time job working with some WONDERFUL Collins Coyotes? Consider becoming a guest-educator! You will have a flexible schedule and work when and where you choose. To be a guest classroom teacher, you need a bachelor’s degree in any subject. With that, you can apply for an Emergency Substitute teaching certificate--you do not need to have a current teaching certificate. We will provide some additional training.
To be a paraeducator, you must possess a high school diploma, plus 72 quarter college credits of 100 level or above, an AA or a BA or pass the Para Assessment exam. For more information, please go to fpschools.org > Get Involved > Careers > Current Job Openings > Job Openings and type sub in the position column to see specific information. Conference Week
Virtual Book fair
We have decided to do a virtual bookfair this fall during conference week instead of an in-person fair. The dates for the fair are Oct. 4-Oct. 17th and books ordered get sent directly to homes not the library.
Thank you!
Mrs. Sanderson, Librarian

Nutrition Services Appreciation Week October 11-15
It’s hard to capture how hard our Nutrition Services staff has had to work during this pandemic. They have gone above and beyond to ensure hundreds of students get free breakfast and lunch every day despite increased workloads, supply chain shortages, and having to entirely change the way lunches are served in order to accommodate social distancing. We are grateful for their care and dedication to making sure our Coyotes are fed on time each and every day. Thank you, Mrs, Clark and Mrs. Clough for being our amazing kitchen staff.

· 2 or more of the following symptoms
o Fatigue
o Headache

One of the following symptoms that last longer than 24 hours

· Positive COVID case in the home
· Notified that your child has been deemed a close contact by the health department.
If so, DO NOT send them to school. Call Collins Elementary.
When a student has the symptoms listed above, they could be absent for 10 to 14 days. If the recommendation is for the student to be absent 10 or 14 days, they may be encouraged to be tested or seen by a medical provider. Under some circumstances, students can return earlier with a negative COVID PCR test (rapid test not accepted). Each case has multiple factors that determine how long a student will be absent for. Thank you for your help in keeping our Collins community healthy!!
If your child will be absent or has any symptoms, always call:
