COVID 19 Update
Kia ora Parents and Whānau,
LEVEL 3 UPDATE
Dear Parents/Whānau,
Yesterday afternoon it was confirmed that we will remain in Level 4 until 11.59 pm Tuesday 31st August, before moving to Level 3 on Wednesday 1st September.
At Alert level 3, all children who can stay at home should still stay at home. Online learning will continue for all children on Monday and your teachers will send all the relevant work on your platforms by Monday 9 am 30th August.
As per the message from our Prime Minister, our school will only be open for children who are unable to stay at home because both parents are required to go to work (or if there is no other person in their immediate or extended “bubble” who can supervise them during the day). Please note that school will operate differently during Alert Level 3. eg online learning at school, multi-level bubbles of 10, not with usual teachers or friends, etc, not allowed to play or share equipment, siblings kept together.
We will be sorting bubble classes, teachers, bell times, and all of the other details to ensure it is successful for everyone. We will then share the details of how we will operate our bubble classes with the families of those children via email on Monday afternoon 30th August. To assist with our planning please ensure you complete the following survey by Sunday 6 pm, please. For those that have already completed the survey, you will not need to unless your circumstances have changed.
We will be in touch with more information as soon as it becomes available.
In the meantime we encourage you, as you have been doing, to please keep connecting with our teaching team (and/or me), to ask any questions you might have, and seek any support you might need.
