Increasing collaboration- attending grade level meetings.

What is my overall goal?

I am working on collaboration with teachers; Making surveys and curriculum connections.

Goal is that teachers are comfortable with planning with me as an extension of their classroom.

What did I do to work toward this goal?

  • Created a curriculum connection. The curriculum connection is a worksheet that teachers as a grade level will fill out monthly to help special areas teacher know what is going on in their classroom.
  • Planning Schedule- I created a planning schedule to help me and the teacher know when I will be attended grade level meetings.
  • Planning Sheet- I made a planning sheet that I will complete during meetings.
  • Teacher Survey- I sent out a survey asking teachers for feedback. I have not collected them all yet.
  • Pulled resources
  • Collaborate with other special area teachers.

Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much. ~Helen Keller
