Important Dates
This newsletter contains all the information for Grade 4 End of the Year activities.
Butler School Orientation for Families
May 19th at 6 PM. This will be an in-person event in the Butler Auditorium. Students and families are invited to meet the school administration and teachers, learn about 5th grade, and see the school.
BUTLER SCHOOL VISIT
Grade 4 students will visit the Butler School on June 3rd during school to learn more about the school and meet teachers. They will be bused to and from the Butler from Washington.
Canobie Lake Park
Friday, June 10th - Canobie Lake Park - Grade four students will have an extended field trip day to Canobie Lake Park. They will leave school shortly after 9 am and return to Washington School around 5 pm. The cost of the trip will be $25.00 per child. We will supplement the expenses using our Student Activity Fund for the bus, some chaperones, and the additional cost of each ticket.
Obstacle Course/Slide Show
Tuesday, June 14th - Obstacle Course / Slideshow - On this day, all fourth-grade students can run through Mr. Z’s obstacle course in front of the school. They will be cheered on by the younger students and staff. In the afternoon, the children will watch a slideshow created from pictures from the past.
Moving-On Ceremony
Wednesday, June 15th - Moving-On Ceremony - This brief ceremony will be at 9:15 am in the Washington School Parking Lot. Graduation certificates will be given to each student. Students should dress up for the ceremony.
Field Day
Thursday, June 16th Rain Date- Friday, June 17th
This will be our annual Field Day and will take place at Callery Park.

Last Day
Tuesday, June 21st - Last Day / Early Release Day @ 12:50 pm - On the last day of school, we will have a kickball game with grade four vs. the staff.
Baby Picture Needed
Special Request
We are planning an activity to do with your child and need a baby or toddler picture of them. Please place it in the envelope, write your child’s name on the back of the picture and the outside of the envelope that was sent home. All pictures will be returned ASAP.
