If you have a rising Kindergartner, mark your calendar for our Rising Kindergarten Spring Fling. See Flyer attached. Please share with any families who are zoned for Sharon Elementary and do not have students currently attending.

Also, a huge congratulations to our SES Archery Team! They placed 2nd in the State Archery Tournament and scored a program high of 2928. Good luck at Nationals in May!

Students enrolled in grades 3-8 in the Walton County School District will take the Georgia Milestones End-of-Grade (EOG) Assessment. The EOG is designed to measure the knowledge and skills taught in Georgia classrooms. Students will be assessed on how well they have learned Georgia’s content standards for their grades. Results from the tests will be provided to schools and parents.

Testing will take place in the mornings on the following schedule for elementary schools:

As with any assessment, we ask that you talk to your child about giving their best efforts on the tests. Students can perform best when they arrive at school on time, calm, rested, and have eaten breakfast.

Splish! Splash! The next and final ROAR party of the year is coming up! You do NOT want to miss this one! The theme is SPLASH BASH! Students who have earned 140 points at the end of the quarter will participate in some fun water activities! Make sure you are earning those points by being Respectful, Organized, Always safe and Responsible!

Your Pie Spirit Night, Tuesday, April 19th from 6-8 PM raising funds for Beta Club.
