The Manning Weekly Update

November 5, 2021

Manning Community,

I hope you've had a great week! As we say goodbye to Halloween, we are excited to kick off our holiday season with a food drive! This is a great opportunity for our Manning community to give back to our greater Jeffco community. Manning's Student Council is hosting two different food drives running from 11/8-11/19. The first food drive flyer that you will see below has a button below it that shows the foods we are collecting for a general food drive. The second flyer advertises our holiday food drive and the button below that flyer has more specifics on items we are collecting for Thanksgiving. Both food drives benefit Jeffco Action Center and our greater community. Give to one or give to both! We thank you in advance for your generosity!

Have a wonderful weekend!

PTA updates

THANK YOU!!! for your continued support of the Manning PTA. The Candy & Cash Fundraiser raised a total of $1,625 for the PTA - a huge thank you to Stephanie Helmer for organizing this great event! Funds from this fundraiser will be allocated to sponsor more fun events for students- like the Hallowe’en Surprise orchestrated by Liz Scheringer and team. (See photos below!!)

First place goes to Owen Heineman, who guessed 716 pieces of candy.

Second place goes to Brody Dungan, with a guess of 705.

And Third place goes to Grant Bamer, with a guess of 673.

We’re looking to sponsor other events for the students and are looking for volunteers to help lead the charge. If you’re interested, please email manningmiddlepta@gmail.com.
