Arrival and Dismissal Procedures
The Alberta School of Performing Arts
Car Rider Arrival Procedures
1. Student drop off begins each morning at 7:30a.m. Do NOT drop off children before 7:30am, as there is no supervision prior to that time.
2. Only the right lane will be utilized for unloading students.
3. The first car in the drop-off line should enter into the unloading zone and pull all the way down to the last pole on the sidewalk labeled (A). The following car in line should proceed to the next pole labeled (B), the next car will pull to the pole labeled (C), the following car will pull to pole labeled (D), the next car will pull to pole labeled (E), then the following car will pull to the pole labeled (F) without leaving spaces between vehicles.
4. When all unloading pole stations are filled with cars, the safety patrol member will stop the remaining cars until the previous cars have safely unloaded and been signaled to exit.
5. The student will exit the vehicle on the right side of the car.
6. Once the first set of cars have been unloaded, the cars will be signaled by safety patrol member to slowly exit so the next set of cars can enter the unloading zone.
***Students may not be dropped off in the parking lot. This poses a significant safety issue.

- Write each name neatly and largely to be read from afar.
- Place the tag on your dash near the windshield (on the passenger side) upon arriving on campus.
