Digital Resource Spotlight for March - Opposing Viewpoints in Context
Digital Resource Spotlight: Opposing Viewpoints in Context. This cross-curricular tool supports social issues for high school students across science, social studies, current events, and language arts classes. Articles present each side of an issue, help students develop information literacy, critical thinking skills, and the confidence to draw their own valid conclusions. Content is updated regularly - check out updates to gun control, sexual harassment, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. New topics are added regularly - for example, explore gentrification, executive powers, and sin taxes.
Check out PD in Your Pocket for the Top 10 reasons your secondary students should try Opposing Viewpoints in Context.______________________________________________________________________________________________

Librarians Badging Up!
Terry Ramirez, librarian at Bradley MS has earned the Librarian & ITS Collaboration badge along with ITS, Wes Ryan by planning a fun celebration of Read Across America. Terry and Wes used Quizizz and Adobe Spark to create a Dr. Seuss Trivia Contest for students during lunch periods. How fun and a great way to promote reading! Great job, Terry!
