During the 1930s, Franklin D Roosevelt guided the United States through its terrible crisis. When he took over, the United States was in the most of a great depression. The depression had taken away our nations wealth and strengt.

The Great Depression did not affect everyone the same way. Many rich people didn't feel any impact on it, but up to 40% of the country never faced real hardship, and others were touched in some way.
