In celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, the Jake Hester's String Quartet will be premiering a newly created tune for the 60th reign of the Queen!

60 Years On the Throne Music Night

Saturday, May 12th 2012 at 6:30-10:15pm

  • This event is FREE and is for all ages
  • A FREE royal themed dinner of the finest foods will be served after the premiere.
  • Smoking attire is compulsory. Patrons who do not come in this attire will have rejected entry into the dining room.
  • All donations are kindly appreciated
  • Must love music!

AGENDA of the 60 Years On the Throne Music Night

6:00-6:30: All arrive and enter the theater hall
6:30-6:40: A brief speech by the founder, Mr Jake Hester
6:40-7:50: Premiere begins followed by other tunes from the Quartet
7:50-8:00: Everyone is to sing the national anthem followed by the royal anthem, God Save the Queen.
8:00-9:30: Everyone is kindly welcomed to the dining room for a free royal dinner of fine foods.
9:30-10:00: A speech shall be made by founder, Mr Jake Hester and others to commemorate the night and the Queen.
10:00-10:15: Everybody to leave, theater closes.
10:15: Finish

MENU for The 60 Years On the Throne Music Night

Caesar Salad or Caviar sandwiches
Coronation Chicken or Roasted Pheasant
Apple Strudel or Christmas Pudding
With a choice of wines
and other drinks

Additional options are available for a price such as vegetarian or other dishes.

We are the Jake Hester String Quartet

Founded in 1892 and nominated Best String Quartet in the Empire in 1936 the Australian Jake Hester String Quartet founded by Jacob E. Hester has played numerous times at the St Jakensberg Music Hall.
They are able to play at numerous occasions such as weddings, funerals and other events.
