Our Spring Clarity window is scheduled to open next week! Staff, learners in grades 3-5 and parents are asked to submit responses regarding technology on our campus. CISD utilizes the data to help in an ongoing effort to improve instructional technology within our district, and your input is greatly valued! Links are not currently live, they will be accessible on Monday morning. If for some reason the links do not work on Monday, please let me know and I will send out new ones .

Summer Robotics Training...3 spots available

We have spots for 3 educators at the SMU Robotics PD this summer. Carol and Debra will be there and would love to have some classroom teachers to collaborate with during the PD and the school year! See below for more info. Please let us know this week if you're interested.

Classroom Robotics for Teachers Grades 4th - 8th

This one week, full-day course provides an introduction to using the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 System in a classroom setting or on a FIRST LEGO League team. Participants will learn the basics of EV3 programming and building, as well as activities to use in the classroom and strategies for running and managing a robotics team. Activities will include building LEGO robot chassis, robot programming, and robot attachments.

Dates: July 11 - July 15 (five full-days; 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. on SMU's Dallas campus)
