Fall Student-Participants Excel In Classroom
It has been a historic fall season for our fall activities and sports at Howell but the success is not only taking place in activity or sport. Our Vikings are also winning in the classroom as well. As part of the Activities Department emphasis of winning in activity and sport, in the classroom and in our community, the sponsors and coaches of all programs have committed this fall to working to improve academic success for all Vikings. Each day Howell sponsors and coaches receive an attendance report and also receive detailed monthly attendance reports to guide conversations with student-participants. All fall coaches and sponsors also received grade reports each Friday morning as part of a system to help students and to provide supports for those in need. Thank you to our sponsors and coaches for the emphasis on success in the classroom. Later this winter we will share the academic success of our fall programs. You can view the impressive statistics from the first quarter from our fall student-participants below.
