Fun in First Grade
Learning with Mrs. Ackenbom's Littles
"Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!"
Dr. Seuss
Dr. Seuss Continued! Mrs. Ackenbom's Littles making paper mache globes...so we can learn more about all the places we can go!
We completed our Dr. Seuss unit this week and will of course continue reading his many books as the year progresses. Be on the look out for cute and informative Lorax activities as Earth Day comes near! We all decided upon our favorite Dr. Seuss book - many favorites were because of rhyming words and funny characters. No matter which book we chose, we all agree that we LOVE Dr. Seuss!
Reading group time makes us have smiles for miles!
"The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go."
