I-Ready Reading Challenge
We will be beginning a reading challenging beginning the Month of January titled: Race for Success. The rules of the challenge are simple and as follows:
* At the conclusion of each school week, I will total up by class the i-ready reading lessons that were completed for the week AND passed. Lesson can be completed at school and/or at home.
*In order to be included in the total, lessons must have a pass rate of 75% or higher.
*At the beginning of each week, during the morning announcements the total number of completed lessons by class for that week will be shared. In addition, each homeroom’s race car on the bulletin board in the main hallway will be moved along the racetrack to provide a visual.
*The class with the most completed lessons will earn a reward. The reward suggestions have been provided by our student council representatives back in December. This month the class with the most completed and passed I-Ready Reading lessons, we earn a free homework pass.
*The winning class will be announced at the end of the month during our morning announcements.
