6th Annual Pfeiffer Walk-a-Thon is almost here!

On Friday, September 27th, 2019, Pfeiffer students will be walking to raise money to benefit Pfeiffer Intermediate. This is the only fundraiser Pfeiffer commits to during the school year. Our goal is to raise $20,000 for Pfeiffer. Our parent group (PATS) sponsors many different events at Pfeiffer such as the wInter carnival, donuts with grown-ups, opportunity day, the sensory room, and much much more. We ask for your support. We know fundraising is time consuming, but it benefits the kids. Look for the forms in the next few weeks. Thank you in advance for your support!!

Join the Pfeiffer Running Club!!

Your son or daughter is invited to join the 2019-2020 Pfeiffer Running Club. The students will meet every Tuesday and Thursday in the Pfeiffer Cafeteria starting September 5th, immediately after school. All students will need to be picked up at Pfeiffer by 4:15 P.M. The students will run around Pfeiffer, Edison, and Hartwick Park. This is a great opportunity for 5th and 6th graders to be introduced to running as a form a fun, stress relief, and competition. There is no charge or fee needed, only a filled out permission slip.

Thank You to the McKinley Eagles

Pfeiffer staff and students want to thank the McKinley Eagles for their donation to our Pfeiffer Choir. The Mckinley Eagles were willing to help upgrade the sound system for our choir department. We look forward to hearing the new speakers at the first concert!! Perry Pride is alive and well!!!

Pfeiffer counselors are making their way through the classrooms presenting guidance topics such as conflict resolution, empathy, career, stress management, social media/internet safety, and learning styles. Be sure to check in with your child to see what they are learning in these fun and exciting lessons! We encourage students and parents to reach out with any personal, social, and/or academic needs. Please feel free to contact us at anytime during school days 7:30 -3:00. As a reminder, if there is an emergency after school hours, please call The Crisis Center @ 330.452.6000, Perry Police @ 330.478.5121 or the National Suicide Hotline @ 1.800.273.TALK. Let's continue to rise by lifting others with kindness!

General Mills Box Tops Collection Contest

It’s time to start collecting! We will be collecting General Mills Box Tops to raise money for our 5th and 6th graders at Pfeiffer. The proceeds are used by the PATS parent organization to support the many different activities and programs throughout the year. In the past, these funds have been used to purchase playground balls, storage carts, games to be used during inside recess, and lots more. For each box top collected our school will receive 10 cents.

Parent/Teacher Communication is key!!

The first point of contact is always the teacher. If you have a question regarding the content or a student's behavior in the classroom, please contact the teacher by calling the Pfeiffer office and asking for the teacher or e-mailing the teacher directly. Research suggests that positive communication between parents and teachers will increase student achievement.
