Label Your Child's Belongings
As the weather gets a little cooler, the number of unclaimed sweatshirts and jackets begin to pile up in our Lost & Found. Please take a few moments to label your child's clothing and other items (e.g., water bottles) so that we can return them to your child if they are misplaced. It's best to put first and last names, since we do have quite a few children with the same first name. For even easier returns, include his/her grade level and/or teacher!
After School Clubs
Periodically throughout the year, we are able to offer after school clubs to our students. Clubs meet right after school and usually meet once a week for several weeks. Students must complete the parent permission form, including a parent signature, to enroll. Enrollment is granted on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Upcoming clubs include our Chess Club for grades 4-8 which will begin on Thursday, October 7th and our Spanish Club for grades 1-6 which will begin on Wednesday, October 13th. Parent permission forms are available on our website (go to For Students > After School Activities) or from your child's teacher.
Global Learning Charter School
Global Learning Charter School (GLC) is a public charter school committed to offering relevant, personalized learning opportunities to prepare students to be global-ready in work and life. GLC opened in August of 2017. Currently, we serve approximately 440 students in grades K-8.
