Principal's Message
Dear Bethany Families,
Thank you for all of your support as we opened school full-time, in-person for the first time since March 13th of 2019! We've been through a lot in those 500+ days as individuals, families, communities, a country, and world citizens. I hope that Bethany will be a place of joy, acceptance, and love for your children each day; a place to thrive and grow academically, socially, and emotionally together among their peers and our dedicated staff.
Our #1 goal right now is to keep schools open and operating safely. THANK YOU for preparing your children so well for following the protocols and being considerate of those around them. Beyond the need for innocent reminders, there have been no issues among students and their willingness to follow instructions. Your kids are amazing!!
Enjoy some time to rest and get ready for a 5-day week ahead. Read below for information regarding Curriculum Night and more. THANK YOU FAMILIES. I'm grateful for YOU every day too! 🙂
Toni

Safety Reminders
* No pets. It is beautiful weather and a great way to take your dog out for a walk. Please remember that we do have small children who are afraid of dogs, or are allergic. If you want to walk your dog, we encourage you to meet your students at the crosswalk or off of campus.
District Policy: Domesticated animals are not allowed on District property and will not be brought on District grounds, into schools or transported on District buses. This includes but is not limited to horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, birds, amphibians, reptiles, and other encaged, aquatic, or farm animals. Service animals[1] serving persons with a disability and animals approved by the superintendent or designee that are part of an approved district curriculum or cocurricular activity are allowed in district facilities.

2. Masks: We appreciate many of you walking to school, please remember to bring a mask to wear on school property.
District Guidelines: Visitors will not be allowed at school — either inside or outside — for periods longer than 15 minutes. This includes arrival and dismissal times. All visitors — inside or outside, vaccinated or non-vaccinated — must be masked.

3. Car Pick-up Line: Please remember to stay in your car if you park along the sidewalk. If you are picking up your child from their classroom door, we ask that you park in a designated parking spot. Students must get in and out on the passenger side of the car.

4. Crosswalk in Front Of The School: If you park and walk your child to their classroom, please cross the parking lot using our crosswalk. We have cars who are dropping off students and they may not see you if you come out between parked cars.

Starting Date for Kindergarten
We have divided up our Kindergarten classes for the first day of school. This plan allows children to have smaller groups of students together and more individual attention to learn routines and get to know each other.
On Friday, September 10th, students with the last names beginning with A-M will go to school (while students with last names beginning with N-Z stay home).
On Monday, September 13th, the students with last names that start with N-Z go to school and A-M stay home.
