Internship Update 2018
Brooklyn Collaborative Interns Work Around NYC!
The Internship Program
For one semester during their junior year, Brooklyn Collaborative students earn credit by working on Monday and Wednesday afternoons with one of our partner organizations in the private, public or non-profit sector. The partner provides students with on-the-job learning experiences, while students take on responsibilities and complete organizational tasks. The Brooklyn Collaborative Internship directors provide hands-on support and conduct weekly seminars to support skill development, needed to land and retain a job. The internship culminates with the supervisors evaluating interns at our Model Job Fair as interns represent their organizations and conduct mock interviews with 9th & 10th grade classmates—the future interns of our program. We've highlighted a few of this year's interns below! Co-directors Tanisha Mosley and Jesse Piscitello looks forward to working with future interns and mentors in Fall of 2018!
