Tuesday Takeaways

Gatesville Intermediate

Week of November 15, 2021

November Character Theme: Caring and Giving

Giving is defined as, to share with others without expecting something in return.

Let's focus more on giving this week -- Below is a 'giving sort', read the examples and determine whether or not giving is being shown or NOT shown.

  • Ralph's apple tree was full of apples and more than he could eat. Still, Ralph did not like to share with his neighbors. Giving or NOT giving?
  • Sarah's brother is in the army overseas. Her class voted to send him cards and a care package. Giving or NOT giving?
  • Russ started a dog walking business, so he could donate dog food to the local animal shelter. Giving or NOT giving?
