4-H Planning Retreat
Thank you for being a part of 4-H in 2014! To make sure we get started on the right foot in 2015, we would like host a 4-H Planning Retreat on Monday, January 5 from 6-9pm at the UNL Extension Office. A meal will be served so please RSVP by emailing email@example.com by January 4. Anyone (adults or youth) with an interest in the 4-H program is welcome to attend.
Here are the goals of this event:
· Set yearly goals for the program and council
· Schedule events(or at least put on the calendar already scheduled) such as 4-H Expo, Fair, Record books, Achievement Celebration
· Put district/state events on calendar – Great way to get us all more aware of these events
· Give input and plan new programs; workshops, guest speakers, contests, etc. – I see this as the most important part of the planning meeting.
