We would be thrilled if your students continued their great progress in DreamBox and iRead over the summer. They will need their own personal devices to access DreamBox and iRead, so we want to be sure they have the information needed to successfully login.

- Students can access iRead from a desktop, laptop, by logging in using the district’s unique URL (desktop or laptop) or iPad app HMH iRead for Schools after setting it up with the code (h100003859).
- Your child's username and password are their ID numbers
- Students can access DreamBox from a desktop, laptop, by logging in using the school’s unique URL (desktop or laptop) or school code (iPad and DreamBox app).

How Can You Support Your PTO?
The PTO typically holds a fundraiser at the beginning of each school year to support the events and resources we provide to the school. We didn’t hold a fundraiser this year due to the financial struggles that covid has caused so many families. However, here are three ways you can support the PTO without spending any extra money…
1ST WAY TO SUPPORT: Download the Box Tops for Education app. Select Horace Elementary School. Scan your store receipts and the app will identify Box Tops products on your receipt and automatically credit your school’s earnings online. If ordering online, email your digital receipts to receipts@boxtops4education.com using the same email associated with your Box Tops account.
2ND WAY TO SUPPORT: Are you planning to purchase holiday cards or gifts from Shutterfly and Tiny Prints? Any time you click through the Horace Elementary storefront (http://horace.shutterflystorefront.com/) to place an order, 8% of your purchase will go back to our school! If you have coupons or discounts they can still be used through our storefront. These companies have all sorts of great items such as cards, invitations, photo books, personalized gifts, home décor, and much more! The storefront is open all year…so you may also use it for graduation cards, Mother’s Day and/or Father’s Day photo gifts, Grandma’s birthday, etc… just remember to click through our storefront link when ordering!
3RD WAY TO SUPPORT: If you are an Amazon shopper, please consider ordering from AmazonSmile to support the Horace Elementary PTO! AmazonSmile donates 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to the charitable organization of your choice at no cost to you. AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know. Same products, same prices, same service. If you’re a current Amazon customer, you will use your same account and all your information will still be there…your shopping cart, wish list, wedding or baby registry, and other account settings are all the same.
How to start with AmazonSmile:
· Go to smile.amazon.com.
· Log in as usual (same log-in info as your Amazon account) or create an account if you’re new to Amazon.
· Using the search box at the bottom right, pick your charity (hopefully it’s us!)…search for “Horace Parent Teacher Organization”.
· Place your order as usual! But remember, only purchases made at smile.amazon.com or the AmazonSmile mobile app, (not www.amazon.com) generate AmazonSmile donations. You may want to bookmark AmazonSmile so that you don’t forget to go there for your next order.
