Make a splash with reading this summer by joining the WCPS Reading Challenge! Find that cozy spot under a tree or find a sunny spot by the pool and enjoy a good book. For each book you read this summer, complete the WCPS Summer Reading Bookshelf to log the numerous books you read throughout the summer. By the end of the summer, you will have a bookshelf full of the many adventures you took while reading. Every student who turns in their completed bookshelf tracking sheet will be entered in our prize drawing!

From the Environmental Literacy, Planetarium, and STEM Team

Science comes to life when we study and observe weather. Why is it so hot? Why is it so rainy? When will the weather improve? Why does the wind always seem to come from that direction? What does that cloud mean? Let’s face it, so much of our lives are wrapped up in the weather. This week take some time to observe and learn about weather and nature together!
