MARCH FUN
SPRING BREAK is March 29 - April 2.
ULS THEME of the MONTH
Unique Learning System, is an online standards-based program that provides students with meaningful access to general education curriculum. This is the foundation of all lessons we teach in the program, differentiated to meet the needs of all three tiers. Each month, teachers across the program focus on a theme that is woven through all of the student learning.
The March ULS theme is Keeping My Home Safe. In this unit, Team members will learn about ways they can help keep their home safe. In order to contribute to a safe living environment, team members must understand their rights and responsibilities in the home. This unit emphasizes safety in the home and discusses the dangers and rights that are associated with poor housekeeping and safety planning. Team members will gain an understanding of general safety tips, accident prevention, fire prevention, electrical safety and pest control. Team members will continue to develop and apply their reading, math, daily living, self-care and employability skills.
Please take a look at these resources so you may share some of this learning at home.
