Words From The Principal
Happy New Year!!! Our staff is so elated to welcome back our Marlins after our winter break! It is so hard to believe the first half of the school year is complete. Please take the time to revisit the Marshall Campus Procedures to ensure we get off to a strong start.
One of the first events of the year will be the Superhero Family Movie Night next Friday, January 13th from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. for our scholars in Kindergarten to 2nd grade. Please let your scholar's teacher know if you will attend. See the flyer below for more details!
Just a few reminders:
- Report Cards for Grades 1st-5th are available in HAC today, January 6, 2023. Report cards will be sent home in the blue folders. PK-Kindergarten report cards will be distributed on January 13th, 2023.
- Marlin Events- please read through all of our events as we would love to see all parents, students, and staff in attendance!
- Please have your scholar(s) on time for school. Class begins promptly at 8:00 a.m.
- Place your scholar's Chick-Fila order here.
Congratulations to one of our Marvelous 3rd grade teachers, Ms. Wilson, she was voted our Houston Area Alliance of Black School Educators Teacher of the Year! We are Marlin proud!
Lastly, we would like to thank our parent volunteers for all their hard work decorating and preparing for the winter parties. The students had so much fun making memories that will last a lifetime. Let’s continue to plant positive seeds together and find joy in what we do daily! Please remember to check our social media weekly for volunteer opportunities and campus events. You are an essential puzzle piece! Let’s continue to work together to make certain that the Marlin Mansion is a place filled with school pride, enthusiasm for learning, and high standards in all that we do. As always, let me know if you have any questions or concerns. We are here to serve!
Let's make it a wonderful 2023!
Sincerely,
Principal Eason
